Robert ?Bob? W. Jones, 55, of McRae, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008. He loved to hunt and fish and was a devoted husband.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Blackwelder) Jones; mother and step-father, Barbara and Chuck Nelson of Wesley Chapel, Florida; two sisters, Elizabeth Wortley and husband, George of Tampa, Florida, Diane Jones of Sacramento, California; father and mother-in-law, Neal and Ruth Blackwelder of North Little Rock; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jesse and Carol Christy of Austin; brother-in-law, Barry Blackwelder of Ft. Collins, Colorado; nephews and nieces, Justin Wortley, April Christy and Michael Christy. Bob was preceded in death by his father, William Jones.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210 or American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main, 758-1170. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at 500 Waterford Drive, North Little Rock. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
