Robert "Big Bob" Kuhrt

Robert “Big Bob” Kuhrt, age 85, of Royal, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023.

He was born on March 3, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Francis Kuhrt and Sylvia Lukaszewicz Kuhrt.  On June 25, 1960, he married the love of his life, Judith Schwab.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Kuhrt; and one sister, Barbara Miller.   

Bob was of the Catholic faith and attended both St. John’s Catholic Church and St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church.  During the 70’s he worked in the towing business.  He enjoyed fixing cars and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He was a hard-working man and liked staying busy.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Judie Kuhrt; four sons, Jeff Kuhrt, Jim (Becky) Kuhrt, Michael (Renee) Kuhrt and Christopher Kuhrt; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Jason, Jacob, Julie, Sawyer, Sydney and Lukas; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
