In Loving Memory of
Robert Alton Lloyd II
Robert Alton Lloyd II, 90, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away on September 5, 2026.
Robert lived a life marked by faith, family, service, and an extraordinary love for others. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a Technical Sergeant, and later retired from AT&T. But his greatest accomplishments were not found in his careers or titles. They were found in the lives he touched and the people he loved.
Robert was a devoted husband to Prisscilla A. Lloyd, his beloved wife of 55 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, faith, and countless memories.
He is survived by his sons, Tim Lloyd and his wife, Nicole, and Matthew Lloyd and his wife, Holly; his grandchildren, Spencer Lloyd and his wife, Mary Kate; Alissa Duff and her husband, Harley; Madelyn Lloyd; Gage Lloyd; and Grey Lloyd; and his great-grandchildren, Hudson Duff and Everly Duff.
Family meant everything to Robert. He was the person you could call when you needed help, encouragement, or simply someone to remind you that everything was going to be okay. He gave freely, loved generously, and would have given the shirt off his back to someone in need.
Robert’s faith in God was at the very center of his life. It wasn’t simply something he believed—it was something he lived. His faith gave him strength and shaped the way he treated everyone around him. He was remarkably positive, even through difficult circumstances, and anyone who knew Robert would likely describe him as one of the most positive people they had ever known.
Robert also had a tremendous heart for serving others. He was an incredible volunteer and found great joy in simply being there for people. He spent many hours with his dear friend James Thurston, loving and caring for what Robert affectionately called the “old people.” He didn’t see them as a project or an obligation. He saw people who deserved to be loved, listened to, encouraged, and valued.
As Robert grew older, he became an incredible caregiver to Prisscilla. He cared for his wife with extraordinary devotion, patience, and tenderness. His love for her was evident not only in the big things, but in the countless small acts of service that defined their life together.
Robert was, quite simply, a beautiful soul.
He had a rare ability to find the good in people and in life. He made people smile. He encouraged people. He helped people. And he loved people.
He didn’t just talk about faith, kindness, and service—he lived them.
And perhaps the greatest comfort for those who loved Robert is knowing that his faith has now become reality.
We can almost picture him walking through those heavenly gates, looking around with that familiar smile and saying:
“Hellooo!”
And we can almost hear our mom waiting for him with a smile of her own:
“What took you so long?”
What a reunion that must have been.
Robert’s earthly journey is complete, but his legacy lives on—in his sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; in his friends; and in the countless people whose lives were made better simply because Robert took the time to love them.
He lived his life in the order that mattered most to him:
God.
Family.
Others.
Country.
He served God faithfully.
He loved his family completely.
He served others generously.
And he proudly served his country.
Well done, Robert. Your work here is finished. Your faith is now your reality. We love you, and we will see you again.
