Robert Logan Buchanan, Jr. âBuckâ of Winnsboro, TX passed from this life on December 26, 2021. Buck was born on November 20, 1941 to the late Robert Logan & Jacqulyne Uloa (Grable) Buchanan in Galveston, Texas.
One of his greatest enjoyments was being around people, telling stories, making everyone smile and laugh, and belting out his version of songs. In his younger years, he was passionate about soccer. He loved fishing and all things outdoors. In retirement, he spent every possible moment on the lake.
Buck served in the US Navy, then held a variety of jobs in the car business, and operated his own office supply store. He also served as a volunteer fireman for the Purley Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Jeannie Tussey, Jeri Smith, and Jackie Buchanan.
He is survived by three children, Pamela Elaine (Buchanan) Taylor of Conway, AR, Albert Lee Buchanan of Crandall, TX, and Wendy Renee Buchanan of Bedford, TX. âPopsâ is survived by seven grandchildren: Brittany (Buchanan) Foster, Allen Palmer Taylor, Bailey Buchanan, Elaina Renee Taylor, Robert Buchanan Taylor, Briley Buchanan, and Melaina Elise Taylor, and one great grandson, Cannon Foster. He is also survived by his sister, Jessie Ferguson of Euless, TX, and brother, Jim Hall Buchanan, of Irving, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
