Robert F. Meyer

Robert F. Meyer, a cherished figure in the community and dedicated owner and master plumber of Robert Meyer Plumbing, passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on August 19, 1961, Robert touched the lives of many with his warm personality and his love for storytelling, often engaging those around him with his favorite question, "Have you got time for a story?".

A master plumber by trade, Robert built a reputable business that reflected his commitment to quality and service. His expertise and work ethic earned him the respect of both colleagues and clients alike, establishing him as a trusted member of the plumbing community.

Robert leaves behind his beloved family. He is survived by his daughter, Emily Bennett and her spouse, Andrew of Knoxville, TN; his stepdaughter, Brittany Kramer and her spouse, William of Hot Springs, AR; brothers Jeff Meyer of Las Vegas, NV, and Christopher Meyer and his spouse, Elaine of Las Cruces, NM; sister, Georgeann Castor and her spouse, David of Port Angeles, WA; and his cherished grandchildren, Knox Bennett, William Kramer III, and Anna Rose Kramer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Meyer and Mary Meyer, as well as his brothers, Alan, Leonard, and Georard Meyer.

Robert's presence in the lives of his loved ones will be deeply missed, and he will be remembered not only for his contributions as a master plumber but also for the warmth and stories he shared with all who knew him.

Pallbearers include Andrew Bennett, Robert Horn, Dennis Freet, Don Woods, Steven Gay, and Dale Bailey.

Honorary pallbearers include Diane Freet, Calvin Davis, Tony Atkinson, and all employees of Robert Meyer Plumbing.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 5:00 PM, both at Smith Family Funeral Home located at 2205 Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
