Robert Lee Ramsey, (the Birdhouse Man), 84, of North Little Rock died on July 10, 2008. He was born on September 2, 1923, to John and Maggie Ramsey in Haynes, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Anne, three brothers, Johnny, Clyde and Claude Ramsey, and two sisters, Willie McGuire and Alice Hatcher. He is survived by two sisters Lois and Jim Waid, and Esther and Jim Moorman, of Texas; two brothers, George and Deanna Ramsey, and Albert and Patsy Ramsey of the Forrest City, Arkansas area; daughter, Judy (Young) and husband Fred Cromwell; three granddaughters, Cherri and Jerry Pitts, Carri Frederick and David Day and Latricia and Tracy DuBose; three great grandsons; one great granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of personal and church friends.
