Robert Lee Watts age 69 of Alpine died Friday. He was born April 6, 1942 the son of John A. and Blanche Hill Watts. He was owner and operator of R&W and Slantco machine shops. He was a member of the Chalybeate Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jonnie Palmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Watts, his four children, Donnie (Ann) Watts of Jacksonville, AR, Brenda (Garry) Williams of Cabot, John (Renee) Watts of Oxford, AR, Jodie Watts of Amity, one brother, Herbert (Sue) Watts of Hot Springs, two sisters, Dorothy (Elton) Wade of Houston, TX, Kalita Smith of Kirby, AR, twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday at the Chalybeate Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery near Amity. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
