Robert "Curtis" Whittecar, Sr., passed away on June 20 2024, at the age of 58 in his home in Bryant, Arkansas. He was born on September 12, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Robert led a life filled with love and devotion to his family. He cherished his son, Robert Curtis Whittecar, II, and his grandchildren Jasmine, Preston, and Harper. A proud sports enthusiast, Robert particularly enjoyed baseball and was an avid supporter of the Razorbacks as well as any team his son played for.

Family was the center of Robert's world, with his sister Cyndi being his closest confidante and best friend. He shared a special bond with his fur companion Remi, who provided him with unwavering companionship throughout the years.

Robert had a routine that brought him joy each day - starting mornings with a cup of hot coffee alongside a cold Diet Coke. He also found solace in taking long drives that allowed him to contemplate life's journey.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Benton. The following day, a graveside service will take place at Atchley Cemetery in Dalark, Arkansas at 10:00 AM.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Robert Clyde Jr. and Carolyn Faye Whittecar and his brother Lynn Whittecar.

He is survived by his son Robert Curtis Whittecar II and wife Michelle of Arkadelphia; step-mother Patricia Whittecar of Alaska; daughter-in-law Ashley Whittecar of Arkadelphia; son Andrew Russell of Malvern; grandchildren:  Jasmine, Preston, and Harper Whittecar; siblings Cyndi Neel and husband Shawn of Bryant, Tinker Maldonado and husband Mario of Texas, Melisa Whittecar of Texas and Debra Whittecar of Bryant; numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of those he touched during his lifetime.
