Roger Allen Hoofman left our physical world to be with our Heavenly Father on May 26,2026. He was born to Louis Allen Hoofman and Alene “Happy” Burchfield Hoofman on September 12, 1956 in Judsonia, Arkansas.

Roger’s favorite things in life were Family, Friends, Hunting (especially turkey hunting), Fishing, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He could tell you a story that made you feel that you were right there with him in that moment.

 Roger was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Barbara Browning, his brothers Ronnie Hoofman and Jimmy Hoofman, his brother-in-law Mike White, his sister-in-law Dana Ray, and his father-in-law Ernest Bruton. 

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Angela Hoofman, son Heathe Downes, granddaughters Kirsten Parish and Shiloh Downes, grandson Hayden Downes, great- granddaughter Snowie Downes, sister Pam White, brother and sister-in-law David (Tammy) Hoofman, brothers-in-law Jerome Browning and Aaron Milligan, sisters-in-law Sondra Hoofman and Beverly Hoofman, daughter-in-law April Downes, mothers-in-law Betty Murray and Joyce Bruton, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lavern (Rose) Brutonand Robin (Mike) Johnson, and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A Memorial Service followed by a Family and Friends Fellowship Visitation will take place at the First Baptist Church in Judsonia, Arkansas on June 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
