Roger Jones, born to Bill and Marian Jones on January 15, 1947, in High Point, NC, peacefully passed away on August 8, 2025.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Byrd and Allin Robins Jones.

Roger is survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice Caldwell Jones; his two sons, Zeke Jones and wife Amanda, and Cody Jones. Also by two granddaughters, Payton Jones and Addison Jones; as well as a brother.

Roger graduated from Conway High School. He attended the UAMS School of Pharmacy for a year before volunteering for the US Army, where he served two years as a paratrooper during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he attended and graduated from the University of Louisiana Monroe School of Pharmacy.

Roger loved the ocean and requested that his ashes be scattered in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he spent his childhood.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St, Benton, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or the National Kidney Foundation.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Don Henley for his weekly visits. And to Wendy McKenzie for all her help.
