Roger Gene Schmidt, 74, of Lonoke died Thursday, August 27, 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Lewis; son, Timothy Schmidt; stepdaughter, Dawn McElderry; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and his wife, Deanna Schmidt.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
