Roger D. Stevens, Retired Major from the U. S. Air Force went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 8, 2017. He was born on October 31, 1932 to Leslie and Hazel Stevens of Boyd Minnesota. Roger served his country for twenty-two years in the Air Force. He loved his country and was a true Patriot. After retiring from the Air Force he went to work for the Pine Bluff Arsenal and retired after twenty years of service. Roger was a faithful member of Agape Church.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stevens of Little Rock; daughter, Margaret (Ron) Morehart of Greenbrier, AR; son, Leslie (Renee) Stevens of Bowling Green, KY; three step-children, Sandra (Alan) Batterton of Benton, AR, Debra Jackson of Benton, AR and Dean (Renee) Jackson of Hong Kong, China; eleven grandchildren; brother, Dale (Marianna) Stevens of Huntsville, AL and six great-grandchildren. Roger was loved by so many friends and a large family that will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13th at Agape Church, 701 Napa Valley, Little Rock, AR., with burial following at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will Tuesday evening, September 12th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home.
