Roland R. Bosley age 78 of Sparkman died Monday, September 1, 2008 in Health Park Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born June 16, 1930 in Clark County Arkansas the son of the late Richard and Rosa Parker Bosley. He was a retired logger and a member of Oak Grove Church near Gurdon.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Lucille Cooper Bosley; four sons, Michael Bosley of Hopper, AR, Larry Bosley of Little Rock AR, Timmy Bosley of Sparkman AR, Randy Bosley of Gurdon, AR; two daughters, Nancy Creed of Prattsville, Arkansas, Shelia Brown of Little Rock, AR, one sister, Gladys Gilly of Lodi, CA, six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Easley Cemetery near Gurdon with Bro. Harry Stone officiating. No formal visitation is planned. Arrangements are by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
