Ronald Coins, 68 of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 18th, 2011. He was born March 8th, 1943 in Stonington, Illinois to the late Burlie and Sophronia Fry Coins.
Ron was a very loving, kind man who loved his family. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was a Vietnam war veteran of the United States Navy; and was a deacon at Parkview Christian Church.
Cherishing his memory are his wife of 19 years, Marilou Coins; seven children, Jason, Melissa, Eric, Jacob, Marsha,Jimmie and Robert; two brothers, William "Shorty", and Albert; two sisters, Vicki and Sarah; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday April 23st, 2011 at Parkview Christian Church. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday evening April 22, 2011 at Parkview Christian Church. The family has requested that donations be made directly to the funeral home to help with unexpected funeral costs. Online guestbook www.peacefulhavenfuneralhome.com
