Ronald A. Eaton, 75, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013. Ronald was born October 18, 1937 in Leachville, Arkansas to the late Clarence and Melba Hicks Eaton. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Algerine Watson.
He is survived by his wife Beatrice Eaton; two brothers, Larry (Imogene) Glover of Higgins and John (Karen) Glover of Kalaheo Kauai, Hawaii; son, David Eaton of Cabot; daughter, Valerie (Bruce) Henley of Bryant; two step-daughters, Kathy (Carl) Grimes of Fayetteville and Connie (Bob) Thomas of Scott; two grandsons, Bryan (Sarah) of Cabot and Matthew Eaton of North Little Rock; two granddaughters, Heather (Bryan) Parady and Ashlea Worsham both of Bryant. He was also proud that he lived long enough to have met his two great granddaughters.
Ron served his country in the United States Navy for four years before entering business school. He worked and retired after 36 years from the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a faithful member of Crystal Hill Assembly of God Church and loved his church family. Always the "Jokester" he will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Crystal Hill Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Church. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
