In Loving Memory of Ronnie Pete Curtis
1937 - 2025
Today, we say goodbye to an extraordinary man. Ronnie Pete Curtis, age 87, went to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of strength, skill, and quiet wisdom. A master electrician by trade, he spent his life building, fixing, and helping-always with steady hands and a sharp mind. His work lit up homes, but his presence lit up hearts.
Beyond his profession, he lived with a passion that never dimmed. He was a fierce shuffleboard competitor, always ready for a good match and a better laugh. And he had a need for speed-spending many cherished years in the thrilling world of drag racing. Whether behind the wheel or around the table, he gave it his all.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlotte; & 3 children: Sharon Curtis, Ronnie Curtis, II, and Donnie Curtis (Cindy) ;4 grandchildren: Travis Minix, Tyler Minix, Matthew Curtis, Peyton Curtis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Juanita Curtis, a grandson Austin Martin, and brother David Curtis.
He was a great man. Humble, capable, loyal, and deeply loved. Though our hearts ache, we are grateful for the years we had, the stories we now carry, and the example he set for us all. He will be missed dearly and remembered always.
A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery on Wednesday, August 6th at 10:00 am
