Rose Marie Selby

Rose Marie Selby, 85, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away September 7, 2025. She was born November 1, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Ernest and Thelma Spalding.

Rose is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Selby and son-in-law, Danny Trawick. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Trawick, Brenda Selby Riggs, Loulette Jodoin (Jon) and son, Joe Selby (Vicki); grandchildren, Brad Selby (Taylor), Jonathon and Jeremy Jodoin, Adam Linz (Lauren), Amanda Linz Caldwell (Russell), and “grandchildren at heart,” Jared and Amanda Stone; several great-grandchildren, and a special closeness with her local great-grandson, Ash Jodoin.

Rose loved the Lord, her family, friends, church, Southern gospel music and board games.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Manisha Singh, UAMS Nephrology (Kidney) Department. Dr. Singh was a blessing to Rose and her family for many years.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Court, Little Rock, Arkansas). A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Bayou Meto Baptist Church (26200 Hwy 107, Jacksonville, Arkansas). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bayou Meto Baptist Church.
