Rosemary Brown, 63, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013. She was born September 5, 1949 to Robert J. Carty and Floreine (Massie) Carty in Huntington, West Virginia. Rosemary was a Facility Space Planner for UAMS and served in the United States Air Force.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Arthur Brown of Little Rock; daughters, Carey Leigh Bellanger (Troy) of Waveland, MS, Christina Whitney (Thomas) of Little Rock; son, Stephen Brown of Memphis, TN; mother, Floreine Carty of Portsmouth, OH; sisters, Robin Storey of Portsmouth, OH, Jennifer Royce of Knoxville, TN, Suzanne Carty of Hendersonville, TN; brothers, Chris Carty of New Holland, OH and Michael Carty of Portsmouth, OH; and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm. on Wednesday, July 31st at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl Hoffman officiating. Private burial will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be held prior to service at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 7525 W. Markham St., Little Rock, AR 72205.
