Rosie Lee Leker passed from this earth July 1, 2026, at the age of 95, just days from her 96th birthday. Born July 9, 1930, at Tomberlin, Arkansas to Wylie and Annie Mae Tubbs. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband C. L. Leker, son Ronnie L. Leker Sr., sisters Dorothy Chestney, Shirley Frizzell, Myrtle McCormick McElroy, and brother William Tubbs.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Joyce Leker of Sherwood Arkansas; grandson Ron Jr. and wife Dana Leker of Conway Arkansas; great-grandsons Dakota and Connor; her brother Hershel and wife Mary Tubbs of Smithville, Missouri; sister Frances Crossland of Hensley, Arkansas and a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
---------
Rosie was the first born of seven children. She met C. L. Leker, and they were married on December 4th ,1945. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. Rosie enjoyed baking and personally delivering her homemade pecan pies to family and friends during the holidays. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson and great- grandsons no matter what the activity. Rosie lived a blessed life filled with simple pleasures, family gatherings, and a few adventures.
Rosie accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior at an early age and devoted herself to the faith the whole of her life. She was also devoted to her Sunday School group, The Discovery Class, and all of the people in it as she was a member for many years.
In her later days she spoke often of reuniting with family and friends as she passed from this life to the next adventure and looked forward to that day. She is now in the arms of Christ as we here celebrate the legacy of a life well lived.
