Rosy Burnett Mathews, 89, of Hensley, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017. She was born February 13, 1928 in Junction City, Arkansas to the late George and Mary Stocks Burnett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mathews, and three brothers. Survivors include daughters, Keitha and Kandy Mathews (Robert Stevens); grandsons, Steven and James ("JT") Carter; great-grandsons, Steven Jr., Michael, and Reed James Carter and Carson Thumbleson, other extended family and her beloved pets, Beau and Snow.
Funeral service is 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the local humane society.
