Roxye Gail Daniel

Roxye Gail Daniel, age 78, of Alpine passed away Friday, July 10, 2026. The daughter of the late Horace Pearson and Lena Pearson.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Jack Daniel; her two brothers, Wymon Pearson and Charles Pearson; and grandson, Kyle Dyer.

Roxye loved horse showing, was a member of Ladies Western Pleasure, which she received many trophies. She loved gospel singings, deer hunting, and raising quail.

Roxye was employed through Ouachita Baptist University.

She is survived by her stepchildren and their spouses, Jim Daniels, Damon (Tonia) Daniels, Jackie (John) Anderson, Tim (Michelle) Daniels; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nephews, Todd (Lauren) Pearson, Mike (Donna) Pearson; niece, Rita (Leslie) Patterson; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pearson and Irma Pearson; and special caregivers, Loretta Coffman and Judy Parmer.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2026 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Pastor Kevin Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Alpine. Pallbearers will be family.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Nightingale Arkadelphia for the wonderful care given.
