Roy Wayne Coppock, affectionately known as “Master Boo Boo” by his Grandkids and great grandkids, and “Bobie” by his family. He was born May 6, 1955, in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away May 23, 2026.
Roy grew up in Little Rock, where he graduated high school, and completed trade school. He pursued a career as an HVAC Technician and relocated to Twin Creek, near Mt. Ida, where he operated a thriving business, All Seasons Service, for more than 40 years.
Roy loved hunting and fishing with passion. He joyfully belonged to the Gray Hunting club in Fordyce, AR. In his younger years, he was a dive master and spent wonderful amount of time exploring beneath the water.
He met his wife, Patsy Sapp Coppock, shortly after moving to Mt. Ida in 1986. They were married on October 10, 2009, and they shared a loving bond until her passing in 2017. Although he didn’t have children of his own and her kids were nearly grown, he became a cherished member of her family.
Roy had discovered a new love, Joellen Dunn. He had recently finished constructing his new home, where Joellen was anticipated to join him. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt condolences to her and wish her a bright future ahead.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Garnal Coppock; his mother, Geneva Jeffrey Coppock; his sister, Charlotte McClain; and his loving wife, Patsy Sapp Coppock. Though these dear individuals are no longer with us, their memories remain a lasting part of Roy’s legacy.
He is lovingly remembered by his stepsons and their wives, Dwayne and Sylvia Sapp of Isanti, Minnesota, and Harold and Tammy Sapp of North Zulch, Texas. His stepdaughter and her husband, Jennifer and Gary Dodds of Angleton, Texas, also hold a special place in his heart. Roy’s brother, Mark Coppock, and his wife, Melissa Coppock, stand among those who mourn his loss while celebrating his life.
Roy’s family extended beyond immediate relatives to include a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kaela and Jeff, Abby, Tanner, Tucker, Beau, Justin, Daniel, Brian, AJ, David, Alexis, Dylan, Jonathan, and Charles. Alongside them are many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom were fortunate to share in Roy’s warmth and kindness. His circle of wonderful friends added richness and joy to his journey, reflecting the meaningful connections he cultivated over the years.
A visitation to honor Roy Wayne Coppock will be held on May 30, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all whose lives Roy touched to come together to share memories and pay their respects.
Roy brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He had a knack for telling great jokes and enjoyed engaging in conversations. Collaborating with him often turned into a half day of delightful socializing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
