Roy Dean Tankersley

Roy Dean Tankersley, age 69, of Pearcy, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

He was born of September 22, 1948, in Pearcy, the son of Harold Tankersley and Lorene Whisenant Tankersley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle Tankersley; his mother; and one brother, Johnny McNanna.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Deana and Loren Walker of Pearcy; three grandchildren, Melisa Walker and Todd Bono, Michael and Laura Walker, all of Pearcy and Cameron and Kirsten Wyatt of Royal; two great-grandchildren, Abby Walker and Bo Walker; his father, Harold Tankersley of Pearcy; three brothers, Dewayne Tankersley and Rex Tankersley, both of Pearcy and Robert McNanna of Hot Springs; one sister, Debbie Pena of Springfield, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, at Oma Cemetery with Bro. Teddy Hill, Jr. officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
