Roy Park,

Roy A. Park, Jr., 82, of Lonoke, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 28, 2013. He proudly served his country through service in the United States Army during the Korean War. Roy worked as the parts manager for J. D. Wood Implement Co. of Lonoke for over forty years. After retirement he was employed by Lonoke Banking Center as a courier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary Park; his wife, Julia Jones Park; infant son, Stephen Park; and sister, Maxine King. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Patricia Park; sons, Roy Park, III of Russellville, Alabama and David (Phyllis) Park of Lonoke; daughter Kathy Park of Maumelle; step-daughter Jolene Caldwell of Wynne (Max); step-son Randy Hanneman of Lonoke; two grandchildren, Dusty (Jennifer) Park and Leslie (Robby) Wilson, all of Lonoke; step-grandchildren Adam (Heather) Curry of Jonesboro and Jonathan Curry of Austin; great-granddaughters Morgan Park and Madyson Wilson of Lonoke; step-great-grandson Bryce Curry of Jonesboro; brothers Don (Muriel) Park of Austin and Bill (Martha) Park of Lonoke; brother-in-law John (Sharon) Kadel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Concord United Methodist Church, with service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Concord Cemetery, c/o Karol Depriest, 436 Furlow Loop, Lonoke, AR 72086.
