Roy F. Sparks Jr. age 63 of Arkadelphia, died Friday April 21, 2017 at Baptist Health Hospital in Arkadelphia. He was born February 16, 1954 the son of Roy and Virginian Haney Sparks Sr. in Arkadelphia.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father Roy and Virginia Sparks.

Survivors include his wife Sherry Michelle Sparks of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Stacy (Chuck) Pennington of Rogers, AR and Shelly Sparks of Okolona, AR; one son, Seth Ryan Sparks (Frankee Robertson) of Farmerville, LA; two sisters, Deborah (Terry) Cox of Arkadelphia, Beverly Davey of Mt. Pine; One Brother Larry (Pam) Sparks of Arkadelphia; one step-daughter Shelley (Josh) Tucker of Arkadelphia; 7 grandchildren, Kayla Pennington, Makayla Sparks, Braxton Sparks, Ellie Tucker, and Tori , Dylan, and Teak Craig. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Elvin and Bonnie Jennings of Pattonville, TX; one sister-in-law Annette (Tommy) Summerford of Arkadelphia and Karen Stocks of Idabel, OK; brother-in-law Michael Jennings of Idabel, OK.

Roy was a lifelong resident of Arkadelphia and the Degray Community and a member of Second Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Roy and Michelle were married in Eureka Springs, AR on January 5, 2008. They have been happily married for 9 years. Roy enjoyed hunting and working in the yard, and loved his family very much, and enjoyed spending time with them all.

Graveside Service for Roy will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Degray Cemetery with Rev. Gary Jennings Officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home.
