Roy Glen Thompson age 77 of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in North Little Rock. He was born June 12, 1932 in Arkadelphia the son of the late Roy and Lerla Bell Francis Thompson. Roy was a lifelong resident of Arkadelphia, retired from Ouachita Baptist University and a Baptist.
Survivors include two brothers, Bill Thompson and Austin Thompson both of Arkadelphia; one sister, Wanda Flowers of Gurdon; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, February 5, 2010 at Richland Cemetery with Rev. James Calhoun officiating. The body will lie in state on Thursday with family receiving friends from 6-8 PM at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
