Roy Turley
Roy Lee Turley, 77, died October 30, 2017. Preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Turley, mothers, Ruby Munzo and Elizabeth Turley, and a brother, Robert Turley, he is survived by his brothers, Roscoe Turley, Jr. of Little Rock and Raymond Turley (Mary) of Rogers, Arkansas; sister, Joyce Hamilton (Wayne) of Benton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Roy spent the last 20 years calling Community Life Services of Little Rock his home, enjoying all the special friends and caregivers there. He was a member of the Sonshine Gang at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene in North Little Rock.
A special thank you goes to Debora Howell and Bobby Daniel, Community Life Services and staff, Colonel Glenn Health and Rehab and Baptist Hospice for the loving and compassionate care given to Roy.
Visitation is Thursday, November 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Bro. Paul Holderfield, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roy's honor to the Sonshine Gang at Friendly Chapel, 116 S. Pine St., No. Little Rock, AR 72114.
