Royce Leon Chambers

Royce Leon Chambers, age 78, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023.

He was born on June 12, 1945, in Hot Springs, the son of William Boy Chambers and Samantha Turley Chambers.  On December 7, 1963, he married Helen Golden.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jr. Chambers and Harold Chambers. 

Royce was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.  He worked as a salesman for Reeser Fine Foods.  He enjoyed singing and listening to Country & Western music and watching the news.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Helen Chambers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie and Diana Chambers and Jon Scott and Angie Chambers; four grandchildren, Justin Chambers, Jacob Chambers, Scotti Chambers and Cruz Chambers; five great-grandchildren, Gaston, Justin, II, Paisley, Legand and Bently; three sisters, Sybil Grady, Paula Fondren and Patsy Moody; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00PM, Monday, October 2, 2023, in the Oak Hill Cemetery, on Danville Road, Hot Springs are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
