Ruby Bridges

Ruby Mae Bridges 91 of Arkadelphia passed away September 25,2019 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation.  Ruby was born in Arkadelphia on January 22, 1928; Ruby loved fishing, western dancing especially two stepping and in earlier years worked as an accountant.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Morris Whetzel Bridges, brothers; Doyle, OT and Culley, and one sister Marie Cooper.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary (Lisa) Bridges and John Bridges both from Texas, grandsons; Todd (Katie) Bridges, Blake (Camille) Bridges, and Mathew Bridges, granddaughters; Tami (Danny) Cross and Christine (David) Burdoff,  great-grandchildren; Lawson Bridges, Layton Bridges, Kaydence Bridges, Elenore Cisneros and Evelyn Bridges, special niece Pamela Cooper Holbrook.

Graveside service will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. Ellis Jones officiating.
