Ruby Maxine McPike, 84, of'Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2025.

She was born on July 31, 1941, in Hammond, Indiana, to Lewis and Dorothy Howison.

Ruby was a devoted wife and the cherished mother of two daughters, Denise Edwards and Tina Small. Her life was a beautiful reflection of the Proverbs 31 woman-faithful, diligent, and kind in all she did. She poured her love into her home, creating warmth and joy through her cooking, candy making, sewing, and needlework. Always attentive to her family, she cared for them with unwavering devotion. Above all, she was a Holy Ghost-filled, godly Apostolic woman whose heart was given fully to the Lord.

She found great joy in serving, often in the church kitchen, but also wherever her hands were needed. Her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and steadfast faith touched all who knew her.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Dorothy Howison; her husband, Everett McPike; her daughter, Denise Edwards; her brothers, Lee Bebb and Robert Howison; and her sister, Eunice Walker.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Small and her husband James; her son-in-law, Bobby Edwards; her grandson, Rick Stanley; her granddaughters, Brittney Edwards, Kelli Beard and her husband Calin, Brooke Ruby and her husband Rick, and Lyndsie Stanley; and her great-grandchildren, Brianna Edwards, Wyatt Stanley, Kinsley Beard, Colton Stanley, Stella Gilbreath, Case Beard, Klaicey Ruby, Saylah Gilbreath, Everly Stanley, Karlie Ruby, Corrine Beard, and Kylie Ruby.

Ruby's legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family

and all who were blessed to know her.
