Rufus Tallent
Rufus David Tallent, age 68, of Arkadelphia, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 in Arkadelphia. He was born November 8, 1948 in Arkadelphia to the late Paul LeMaster and Cordie B. Beard Tallent. Rufus was a retired minister. He served as a missionary in Alaska and Colombia, South America.
Survivors are one son, Michael Tallent and wife, KatieMae of Kenai, Alaska; two daughters, Katie Tallent and her fiancé, Roy Maxwell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Katrina Buck and husband, Brent of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one sister, Lecia Tallent of Arkadelphia; six grandchildren, Abbie Hall, Adin Washbourne, Ayla, Sailor, Cooper and Stella Tallent.
Memorial graveside service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 18th at Degray Cemetery with Marvin Pate officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Degray Cemetery Fund, 150 Bledsoe Rd. Arkadelphia, AR. 71923.
