Ruth I. Ann Bradley Beckius

Ruth I. Ann Bradley Beckius, 98, of Little Rock, AR, went to her final rest on Thursday, June 19, 2026. She joins her parents LH and Alice Bradley, her husband, Ivan, their children Michael and David Beckius, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She leaves behind to hold her in their hearts her son, Larry Beckius (Paula); daughter, Kathy Beckius Freeman (Bob); grandchildren, Joseph Bradley Beckius (Amy), Jennifer Beckius, Robert Freeman, and Keith Freeman (Allison); and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Andrew Beckius and Georgia and Aubrey Freeman.

Born and raised in south Arkansas, Ruth enjoyed a childhood of running free around the local area, hopping into passing crop dusters against her mother's wishes and dancing on the porch with her sister Helen.

In her adult life, after raising her children, Ruth found the career path she loved, being instrumental in the opening of the Hilton Hotel on South University in Little Rock and later the renovations and re-opening of the old Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock.

She enjoyed traveling the country from the coast of California to the busy city streets of New York, enjoying the fall beauty of the Northeast, relaxing in the New Mexico hill country and exploring the Outer Banks of the Carolinas.

Following retirement, Ruth gloried in long summer days spent with her four grandchildren who filled her home with love and laughter.

"To everything there is a season" covers the many seasons of a life long and well lived. As she enters this final season, may she rest forever gently in the arms of those who loved her dearly and waited for her patiently.

Loved by many, she will be fondly remembered by all. Private family services will be held at a later date.
