Ruth Farris

Ruth Armstrong Farris, 95, of North Little Rock, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017. She was born April 3, 1922 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Jesse and Helen Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Farris, Jr.; her parents; and sisters, Lucille Gunsaulis, Marguerite Whitten and Jeanette Battisto. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Farris (David Martin); son, Douglas Farris; granddaughters, Tommie Lynn (Mike) Mowrey, Blakeley (Todd) Nolte and Ricci Hunter; and four great-grandchildren, Caitlin Rose, Reese, Beckett, and Lola.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
