Ruth Kirkpatrick-Pollett, 92, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was born May 1, 1924 in Beebe, Arkansas. In 1941 she married her husband of 53 years, John Kirkpatrick, and they made their home in North Little Rock.
Ruth was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. She was an excellent cook and also enjoyed singing and gardening.
She is survived by her son, Philip and wife Cathy Kirkpatrick; granddaughter Kristine and husband Brian Elam, all of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Dick Hefner of Paragould; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Odis and Jewel Hefner; husbands John Kirkpatrick and Carl Pollett; sister Odie Hefner; and brother Denver Hefner.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Lakewood Health & Rehab and Arkansas Hospice.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
