Sadie Haycox, 82, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2013. She was born on May 20, 1931 to Fred and Dixie Cross in Reydell, Arkansas. She was retired from Maybelline, loved to hear the Gaithers and was a member of Faith Community Church.

Sadie is survived by her daughter, Kerrie Haycox; grandson, Jeremy Simpson; four granddaughters Shannon Cristi, Denise Simpson (Mark), Anita Simpson (Mike),Jenny Gipson; nine great-grandchildren, Phillip, Jessica, Madison, Tyler (Michelle), Brent, Jacob, Kevin, Jennifer, Michelle; two great-great granddaughters, Kinsley and Brittney; and two brothers, Fred Cross (Marilyn) , Marvin Cross (Diane); two sister-in-laws, Anna Cross and Frankie Cross; and special friends, Louise and Charles Edwards, Barbara Ford, her church family and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, J.B. Petty and Arthur Haycox; three brothers, Eugene Lanning, George Cross, James Cross; and one daughter, Carol Anne Simpson.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, 758-1170. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Community Church, 314 E. Emily Street, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
