Sally Jean Latham was born on July 20, 1966, in Texarkana, Texas. She passed away on February 12, 2026, leaving behind so many people who loved her deeply and will miss her more than words can say.

Sally spent many years working as a nanny, and caring for others truly came naturally to her. She had a gentle, patient way about her that made children feel safe and loved.

She graduated from Texas High School and was known for her incredible cooking.  She poured love into every meal, and it showed.

She is survived by her sisters, Kirsten Lavergne and Leah Portis; her brother, Darius Crawford; her aunts, Ardeth Dailey and Cynthia Hollingsworth; her nieces, Alex Mayeur, Chase Mayeur, and Keegan Lavergne; and her nephews, Cameron Aviles, Palmer Aviles, and Charles Portis. She also leaves behind many cousins who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Sally was preceded in death by her father, Mark Latham; her mother, Barbara Perkins; and her significant other, Tony Latella.

Sally’s life was centered around family and making people feel cared for. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
