Sally Gibbons Kasalko (01/30/1943 - 12/19/2025) died quietly on December 19, 2025, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Charles (Jose') Kasalko and her two brothers. She grew up in the St. Louis, Missouri, area. Moving to Little Rock in the mid-sixties, she began her 40 year career at UAMS. During this time, she and Jose' traveled the world. Sally used her librarian skills to research each stop on any given tour.
Genealogy of her Gibbons family was a cherished hobby. She and Jose' visited a distant cousin in Ireland who Sally had found in her research. A person of many activities and interests, Sally enjoyed gardening, studying recipe books and cooking. She also loved all types of horses. As a student in Spain, she even took riding lessons as a part of her studies.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends, Terry Studdard, Aaron Foster and David DeMarco. At her request, there will be no funeral service
