Sammy Baldwin
Sammy Ray Baldwin, 63, of Little Rock, passed away December 30, 2017. Born in Helena, Arkansas to Ernest and Gertrude (Matney) Baldwin. He was President of the Alumni Association for the Arkansas School for the Blind, a ham operator (N5SRB), and a member of Alexander First Baptist Church. He was honored to serve as the first blind dispatcher with A1Ambulance.
He is survived by his sister, Venita Williams (Joe) of North Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), (501)224-2200. Sammy's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
