Samuel William Delisle

Samuel William DeLisle, 48, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away on July 24, 2026. Born on February 10, 1978, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Samuel was the son of the late Roland DeLisle and Ellen “Long” Baser.

Samuel had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping and staying active. He was athletic, self-taught himself to play the piano, and was known for his fun-loving personality. Those who knew him will remember him as a happy child at heart who loved to joke around, make others laugh, and was never afraid to show off his playful side.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roland DeLisle; his aunt, Debra Cordova; and his grandparents, Mack E. Long and Hanna Lora Long.

He is survived by his mother, Ellen (Jimmy) Baser of Sherwood; his son, Reece Pritchard; his uncles, Mike (Gail) Long and Steve (Mediha) Long; his aunts, Connie DeLisle and Susie Lafond; and his cousins, Jessica (Larry) Ladd, Mack Long, Sarah Long, and Rebeccah Long, along with many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Samuel's laughter, kind heart, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him
