Samuel Jake Shaver

Samuel Jake Shaver, of Gravette, Arkansas, passed away on October 18, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1980, to Daniel and Diane Shaver in Portsmouth, Virginia. Jake spent over 20 years doing a job he loved, driving trucks and playing in the dirt.

Jake’s favorite sports were basketball, pool, horseshoes, driving fast, fishing and he could not wait until the weather turned cool for his favorite times of the year, Deer Season! He always had to have music playing loud whatever he was doing. Jake spent his time lounging on the couch watching sports and cartoons with his son, Austin, especially Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, and The Flintstones. He loved to be the life of the party.

Jake was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Shaver, paternal grandparents, Victor and Hattie Shaver, and his maternal grandmother, Vaccol Holt.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Shaver, son, Austin Shaver, and mother, Rebecca Diane Shaver, along with several extended family.

A visitation is planned for Sunday evening, October 26th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas.
