Sandra Raye Cook, 49, of Little Rock, passed away in Little Rock on Monday, June 18, 2007. She was a dental assistant for Dr. J. R. Owens, Jr., D.D.S. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Gary Cook; three daughters: Bailey, Audrey and Emily Cook; uncle, Wert Akin (JoAnn); sister, Caprice Barnes Moudry (John); step-brothers: Randy Barnes, Mike Barnes and Keith Ford (Rhonda); parents, Charles Garner (Ruth) and Sandra Akin Barnes (Odell); grandmother, Effie Huey (Robert) and mother-in-law, Sybil Grady (Sonny). She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Garner and grandmother, Roberta Akin.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The funeral service will be Friday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Ben Jones. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Hot Springs. Memorials may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5520 Woodlawn, Little Rock, AR 72205.
