Sandra Ann Tipton

Sandra Ann Tipton, a beloved homemaker, passed away peacefully in Benton on September 10, 2023. Born on October 31, 1951, Sandra lived a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. 

Sandra survived by her two sons, Brandon (Shana) Tipton of Benton, Arkansas; Dr. Reese Tipton of Waxahachie, Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her beloved cannine, Mac; and one honorary son, Britt Garrett of Diamondhead, Arkansas. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, James Tipton, her father, Lee Davis, her mother, Patricia Davis, as well as her brother, Michael Davis. 

Sandra was known for her vibrant personality. Often described as a spitfire, she possessed an incredible spirit that shone brightly to protect her family.  She was a true "Momma Bear". Her energy and zest for life were contagious, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sandra was an excellent cook and had a talent for creating delicious meals that brought joy to everyone around her table. Her culinary skills allowed her to nourish not only the stomachs but also the hearts of those she loved. Many fond memories were made over shared meals prepared with love by her.

To honor Sandra's life and pay tribute to the incredible woman she was, visitation services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs on September 14th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This will be followed by the funeral service at the same location at 10:00 AM  Her final resting place will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, where she will be interred in a burial ceremony starting at 1:00 PM.
