Sarah Blood

Sarah Blood, 41, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022.  She was born November 9, 1980, to James Kevin Luker and Diana Kay Shaw (Vinsett) in Jacksonville, Arkansas.  Sarah worked at Unity Health Oncology Clinic up until her death.  She loved her family fiercely, especially her children, Dakota, Layton, and Teagan.

Sarah is best known in her adult life as a vibrant, loving mother to her children, and could always be seen and heard cheering for her kids at all of their sporting events.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Blood of Beebe; son, Dakota Blood, of Lakenheath Air Force Base, Lakenheath, United Kingdom, son Layton Blood, and daughter Teagan Blood, of Beebe; mother, Diana Kay Shaw (Danny), of Cabot; sister Simone Merced, of Ward; sister Laura Kannedy (Ryan), of Bellevue, Nebraska; nephews Noah and Jace Merced, of Ward; and Hector and Hope Kannedy, of Bellevue, Nebraska.

Sarah was preceded in death by her grandmother (Mema) Ruth Vinsett, and father, James Luker.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, form 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral service will follow on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Beebe.  Interment will be at Beebe Cemetery.  Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
