Sarah Thompson

Sarah Mae Faulk Thompson, 89, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away May 7, 2026. She was born April 15, 1937 to Billy M. and Easter Faulk in Clio, Alabama.

Sarah moved to Little Rock in her early twenties to start a family. She worked as a key punch operator and supervisor of USF&G Insurance Company and then as a key punch operator for UPS.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Billy M. and Easter Faulk, her sister Myrtle Lee Faulk Ketcham and brother-in-law Roy B. Ketcham, of Clio Alabama, in-laws, Guy and Lida Cates, and her sister-in-law, Angela Cates of Smith, of Clinton Arkansas.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Tracy Downing (Richard), son, Toby Thompson (Kelly), granddaughter, Christina Dunlap and great-grandchildren, DJ and Bailee Dunlap, brother, Billy F. Faulk (Jean), many extended family, nieces and nephews.

Not only was she a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother but also our best friend.

Sarah enjoyed caring for her children, sewing, and crafts. She was very proud of the extensive family history research which she compiled in a family book.

Sarah will be laid to rest at the Faulk Methodist Church Family Cemetery in Clio, Alabama at a later date.
