Sarah Ward
Sarah Catherine Jenkins Ward, 84, of Little Rock, passed away May 10, 2013. She was born in El Dorado to James A. and Allie Shelly Jenkins. She retired as a Social Worker from UAMS and was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Little Rock.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Allen Ward (Judy Helen) of Laguna Niguel, California and Carl Eugene Buchanan of Benton; daughter, Helen Ruth Ward of Little Rock; sister, Ruby Pennington of El Dorado; and grandson, Christopher S. Travis Foster of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Catherine Ann Ward; brothers, James A. Jenkins and Henry Jenkins; and sister, Ann Thornton.
Services will be today, Sunday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Bob Klein.
