Scott Alan Ables, 61, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013. He was born June 6, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Marvin and Shirley Ables. He was a graduate of Parkview High School. Scott was the owner of several businesses and later worked for Kroger and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by two brothers, Danny Ables (Linda) of Cordova, Tennessee and Gary Ables, of Little Rock; three nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Betty Ann Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
A Memorial mass and Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Little Rock Tuesday August 20, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
