Scout Rodgers
Scout Renee Rodgers, age 13, of Beebe passed from this life on August 25, 2017 after a three-year battle with cancer. She was a student at Beebe Junior High School who enjoyed choir and art, as well as being a member of United Methodist Youth at First United Methodist Church in Beebe.
She was the youngest daughter of Christian C. and April Renee Rodgers of Beebe and is survived by her siblings Hayden (Dylan) Mohler of Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia, Savannah Rodgers of Olathe, Kansas, Trey Daniel of Maumelle, Andrew Slaton Daniel and Smith Rodgers of Beebe, Arkansas; grandparents Kathy Rodgers of Beebe and Jerry and Brenda Bass of McRae. She is also survived by her favorite Aunt, Melissa Renee Branscum of Beebe, Arkansas.
In the end Scout passed as she lived, with a quiet natural dignity that left its mark on those she loved.
The memorial service for Scout will be held at First United Methodist Church in Beebe at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 30th. There will be no visitation prior to the memorial service, nor will there be a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Scout's name to one of the following organizations: Arkansas Children's Hospital, Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Fight Like A Kid-Arkansas, Give Kids The World, or Make A Wish-Mid South.
