Shannon Dawn Lacy, age 41, of Gurdon, died Friday, June 3, 2011 in Arkadelphia. She was born January 23, 1970 in Gurdon, Arkansas. Shannon was a member of Sycamore Church at Beirne, she was a restaurant manager at Wendy's in Caddo Valley and Sonic restaurant in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Derwin Lacy.
Survivors are three children, Angel Huddleston of Arkadelphia; Dorian Lacy and Sharah Lacy both of Gurdon; five grandchildren, Nina, Mya, Mia, Deountae and Airel; her mother, Deborah Mead and husband, Chris of Gurdon; her father, Ronald Fields Sr. and wife, Paula of Iyanbito, New Mexico; two brothers, Ronald Fields Jr. and wife, Shannon of Gurdon; Case Fields of Durango, CO; two sisters, Micki Marks of Arkadelphia; Faven Fields of Durango, CO; her fiance, Christopher Burtness of Gurdon; and many other family members who loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 7th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James McCain officiating. Burial will be in Golden Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday and 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
