Sharon Brockinton-Gaines, 60, of Cabot passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007. She was a member of Bayou Meto Baptist Church and graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1964. Sharon was a loving, generous, and self-giving mother and grandmother. Her greatest and most cherished past time was precious moments spent with her four grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Billy Gaines, of Vilonia; daughter, Kimberly (Nigel) Jebb, of Cabot; four grandchildren, Nathan, Colin, Connor and Nicola; uncles and aunts, Bobby Jack and Daphna Gwin, of Cabot, Bud and Adene Gwin, of Sherwood, Bea Roberts, of Sherwood and Clara Sims, of Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.R. and Irene Brockinton and one aunt, Mable Couch.
Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 904 Autumn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
