Sharon Kaye Lucio, age 60, of Norman, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, surrounded by her family and friends.
Sharon was born on May 25, 1961, in Palacios, Texas, to Jeanenne Hyett Banks and Donald Hyett. She was married to the love of her life, Jose Lucio, who stood by her side throughout the years.
Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Hyett; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Abel and Concepcion Lucio and her brother-in-law, Gilbert T. Lucio.
Sharon loved dancing and horses. She is probably now riding Gabriel, the horse who helped her regain her health, trading his life for hers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Lucio; her parents, Jeanenne and Jeff Banks and Donald and Sandra Hyett; her children and their spouses, James Aaron and Soyoun Francesco, Joey and Shauna Lucio, Desiree and Jeff Reed and Steven and Crissy Lucio; her grandchildren, Andrew, Allyson and Kroy Lucio; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay Todd and Larissa Hyett, Greg and Brandi Burmeister and Mark and Cathy Burmeister; her nieces, Kaitlyn Hyett and Kirstyn Schulker and her husband, Carl; and many wonderful brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
There will be no services planned at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
